Westside Animal HospitalPet Meds: Full-Service In-House Pharmacy
At Westside Animal Hospital, we have a full-service in-house pharmacy for your pet’s needs. For refills on medications, you may call our office at (770) 607-3055 or request a refill through Your Pet’s Medical Records, and we will have your pet’s medications waiting at the front desk. If you prefer to order from our Online Pharmacy, your pet’s medication will be mailed to you. If you prefer to order from our Online Pharmacy, your pet’s medication will be mailed to you.
All prescription refill requests for veterinary medicine through an outside or online pharmacy will require an original prescription. We do not fax original prescriptions to online pharmacies and we are unable to call in prescriptions to local pharmacies due to recent pharmacy dosage errors and unapproved substitutions. Please call us ahead of time and we will have your pet’s prescription waiting for you at the front desk.
We want to closely monitor your pet’s health while taking prescription medication, so some of your pet’s medications may require periodic blood-work prior to approval of a refill.
If you prefer to order your pet’s veterinary medicine and prescriptions online and receive them through the mail, you can do so through logging into your ePet Health Portal. Be sure to use the same email address that we have on file in your pet’s record. Prescription medication requests through your portal will be reviewed by our veterinarian prior to processing; therefore, you will not need an original prescription for this service.
Please remember that the veterinarians at Westside Animal Hospital can only prescribe medications for pets that they have examined, and they can only refill prescriptions written by our veterinarians on staff.
